Tribes of Midgard is a cooperative game with a perfect mix of action, survival and roguelite elements. You must defend your village from all the invaders, deadly spirits and wild giants that every night threaten to destroy the Seed of Yggdrasil, the sacred tree that you swore to protect. The only way to stop Ragnarök, the end of the world, is for you and your tribe to protect the Seed. Explore the wild world of Midgard with your tribe to collect valuable resources, hunt mythical beasts, defeat powerful enemies, defeat giants, and find treasure. The further you get from the village, the greater the challenges and rewards, which you will need against the minions of the apocalypse. But you must return before the sun sets to strengthen your defenses, build powerful equipment, and defend against night attacks. · Roguelite with Survival Action: Each game begins with your tribe in a new procedurally generated world with nothing more than a loincloth and your eternal oath to save the world. Gain knowledge, meta-experience and unlocks in each session that will help you in your mission to avoid Ragnarök as much as possible. The longer you and your tribe survive, the greater the rewards. · Face colossal situations: Protect the Seed of Yggdrasil from the nighttime invasion of the Helthing and work with your tribe to resist the imminent threat of the Jötnar, epic giants determined to destroy the Seed and your village. The world and the game end when the Seed is destroyed. · Forge your Viking legend: Level up your character each session by choosing a class and fighting while searching for resources to create epic armor and powerful weaponry. Discover and equip powerful runes to complement your playstyle in surprising ways. Then unleash destruction and prepare cunning defenses for the village and surprise your enemies. · Gather your tribe: It takes an entire village to take down the giants! Venture through Midgard alone or form a tribe of up to 10 players in cooperative online play. Test your Viking skills against the time challenges of Saga Mode or adapt the experience to your liking and progress as far as you can in Survival Mode. We recommend you face Ragnarök with a tribe of four or more people.
